In today´s highly competitive global business environment, marketing is undergoing an intense transformation. Highly fragmented consumer segments are becoming savvier and harder to reach than as ever before. As technology is changing at the speed of light, new marketing and communication tools are constantly appearing. To date, the emergence of digital technology has led to a revolutionary change in marketing and by the end of this decade every facet of the marketing mix will have been radically challenged. As a consequence, the need for qualified digital marketing professionals is rising dramatically.

The Master in Digital Marketing is an innovative and challenging program oriented at providing you with cutting-edge theories and sound marketing practices for competitive advantage. You will become more valuable to your organization and you will grow, both professionally and personally, reaching your full potential.

The aim of this master´s program is to provide you with a solid digital marketing and business foundation and the flexibility to follow the program regardless of your geographic location and work commitment.

Structure

Lasting 13 months and starting in February, the program is based on two online training periods and three face-to-face periods, each lasting between one and two weeks, providing you with a deep understanding of business and management and a specialized view in digital marketing.

 

The three face-to-face periods will be held at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the program. Two face-to-face periods will be hosted in our Madrid campus and one in London, home to many of the world´s leading digital marketing agencies. These periods are oriented at providing you with those competencies and skills you will need to become a successful business leader and will help you to establish a close link and network with peers and professors. Some core management and specialized courses will also be held during the face-to-face periods.

The online methodology reflect today´s international business environment, where cross-cultural teams work on global projects regardless of their geographic location. You will not have to leave your residence or work place for extended periods of time to pursue a truly great learning experience.

Requirements

Our selection process focuses on leadership potential, strong academic ability, and personal qualities and characteristics. The Admissions Committee will consider the following:

  • A Bachelor degree from an accredited college/university (or a degree equivalent to 180 Eurocredits).
  • Demonstrated professional experience in any field.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • A complete application including all supporting documents.

In order to evaluate each candidature more thoroughly, the Admissions Committee may also require the GMAT/GRE/IE Admissions Test and/or the TOEFL examination.

Admissions Process

Course Fees

Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of 120 €, to cover administrative costs.

The tuition fees for the Master in Digital Marketing for the February 2009 intake total 27,000 € + 1,100 € (contribution to the IE Business School Foundation).

Admission is valid for two years, so the successful applicant has up to this limit to reserve place on an intake. In order to secure a place on the Master in Digital Marketing, intake students are required to make a deposit equivalent to 20% of the total program fees (5,400 €) + the contribution to the IE Business School Foundation (1,100 €).
